Yeouinaru International Design

The proposal aims to create a ferry terminal which manages water transportation and various vessels including private and government vessels in an integrated manner. The site is situated in a high traffic part of Seoul with frequent traveling of tourist, commuters, and locals, whilst also being able to display natural scenery against the urban environment of Seoul.

The proposal presents a fluid and clean building that organizes the administration and public spaces, which branch of the main nave of the building. The building illustrates a highly functional and pragmatic layout for a ferry terminal, the allegory behind each design decision has been to maximize flow and interaction through the use of interior balconies and symmetrical spatial layout.
